The first meal !

Susan prepares her first meal in the new kitchen. She declined an appearance.

The Bathroom hall finale

This is the flooring, trim and utility cabinet for the hall. I did clip on the overhead light covers as an afterthought but it wasn't worthy of another picture. These final details are killing us ! Please click on the last pictures to admire Nick's crown molding and baseboards/shoe molding.

The Under-counter lights

There was a special request for a look at the under-counter-lights. You have a weird perspective thing here but you get an idea of the light kit.

The Kitchen today

Well, the Fridge is on, The Dishwasher is on, the Microwave is on, the electricals done and all the plumbing (minus the Insinkerator) is in. Soon.............

And it's BROKEN !!!!!!

This is THE last thing we've been waiting for ( A VERY expensive !@#$%^^ Spice Cabinet) and the #$%^& came in damaged ! In a week to ten days we'll have another one.

Backsplash work starts

Here's the backsplash in progress. It's called "Subway tile". The green dots are spacers, the grouting will be Monday after the last cabinet comes in.

And then there was water.....and it was good !

Under the sink

Here's what the wizard has done under the sink. The only addition will be the In-Sinkerator (hot water), on the left side. Nick is waiting for an adapter for the countertop (September 14th-ish).

Counter-top day.......YES !

The gadget on the left is some sort of vacuum device that squeezes the two parts of the counter together to get a seam-less seam. It's called a "Parallign Gorilla-Grip".
